Nice to meet you

Hello there!

Hey there, my name is Sam.

I’m a native Floridian, a recent Palm Beach Atlantic graduate, and a homeschooler.

One of the things I always appreciated the most about being homeschooled was the freedom and flexibility it gave me to pursue my interests. Whether that be 3D printing, video editing, web design, or something as simple as volunteering as a teacher in kids ministry at my church; I had the chance to build real world skills while pursuing my passions.

However, pursuing my passions to learn these skills would prove to be very difficult, because…

The Problem:

there wasn’t a clear starting point for most of my then-soon-to-be-hobbies. Fun and rewarding pursuits were seemingly miles out of reach, locked behind a wall of complexity and confusion; totally inaccessible.

To learn 3D printing, it seemed you needed to be a professional engineer.

To learn video editing, it seemed you needed thousands of dollars of equipment.

To learn web design, it seemed you needed a decade worth of studying.

I spent years learning those skills, figuring things out, mastering them. 3D printing, in particular, was a ugly challenge. Where on earth are you supposed to even start?

Eventually, though, I prevailed; gaining a hard earned expertise of the subjects which had seemed so unapproachable.

At some point in high school, it occurred to me that there had to be other people struggling with the same challenges. And that’s when it hit me; between the teaching experience I have from my church and local homeschool co-op and the STEM skills I’ve spent years developing and honing, I can help students who are in the position that I used to be in.

And so, I did.

In high school, I began what would turn out to be the precursor to this business (thanks again to the flexibility of homeschooling).

I empowered students to discover their potential through hands-on learning in the subjects that excite them most – only, without the hassle I had dealt with!

(LEGO robotics course I taught in high school)

my teaching history:

I was teaching LEGO robotics, video editing, graphic design, Cricut vinyl cutting, and of course; 3D printing.

But then, I went off to college, and it all got put on the back-burner…

Until NOw!

Having recently graduated college, I decided to get back into the business.

I’m here to use all the knowledge I have to teach young, aspiring students every skill they can dream of in a professional, supportive, learning environment so that their skills are only rivaled by their imagination.

If you have a student who has the same interest in 3D printing that I did, and still do, then who better to get them started than someone who was (not that long ago) in their same shoes?
